Nickel is a versatile, silvery-white transition metal with excellent corrosion resistance and high elasticity. Nickel boasts properties of being hard, malleable, and ductile. Approximately 46% of nickel output contributes to crafting nickel steels, 34% serves in nonferrous or superalloys, 14% is dedicated to electroplating, and 6% fulfills various other applications.
