Description

Platinum Evaporation Materials are used in various deposition processes such as semiconductor, chemical vapor deposition (CVD), and physical vapor deposition (PVD). These materials are crucial for creating high-quality deposited films. Platinum is a dense, malleable, and highly unreactive transition metal with exceptional corrosion resistance, even at high temperatures. It is the least reactive metal among six metals (Pt, Pd, Os, Ir, Rh, and Ru). It remains unaffected by oxygen and water, only soluble in aqua regia or fused alkalis. Platinum Evaporation Material boasts exceptional purity, typically exceeding 99.95%, ensuring high-quality film deposition with minimal impurities. It has a melting point of 1,772°C, a density of 21.4 g/cc, and a vapor pressure of 10-4 Torr at 1,747°C. It is a radiant, silvery-white metal that bears a striking resemblance to palladium. It is dense, malleable, ductile, and corrosion-resistant in air.
