Material: Tungsten; published catalog purity W 99.95%. Confirm certificate and selected material condition.
Published custom envelope: length 50–1,000 mm; width 10–500 mm; height 10–300 mm; thickness 0.1–10 mm; volume 0.05–50 cc. These are separate custom design ranges, not the dimensions of every standard model.
Standard models below include widths from 8 mm; use the model row and confirmed drawing for procurement. Published density ≥19.1 g/cm³ requires grade/process confirmation.
Closed End Tube Heaters are available in various configurations.
Durable Slab heaters are good for corrosive materials and have less deformation during heating and cooling cycles.
Catalog configurations include standard, butterfly, folded and hemispherical boats, with polished or unpolished finishes. Forming and machining requirements depend on sheet condition, geometry and thickness. Confirm the required cutting, bending, machining, annealing and surface route for the selected design rather than assuming every process applies to every model.
Provide a dimensioned drawing, contact/clamp geometry, evaporation charge, vacuum or gas conditions, electrical/heating requirements and cycle details for custom review. Different source materials and alloys require separate confirmation.

Tungsten boats are resistive evaporation sources used in vacuum coating and thin-film deposition. Select a geometry compatible with the evaporant, charge volume, source clamps and electrical/heating system.
Review charge compatibility, wetting, spitting, vapor pressure, atmosphere and thermal cycling. A boat is not interchangeable with an E-beam crucible, sputtering target, X-ray target or shielding component simply because all may use tungsten. Material melting point does not establish a working-temperature or lifetime rating.
Each tungsten boat is inspected, clearly labeled with its product code and specifications, and packed to prevent bending, abrasion, and surface contamination. Protective inner packaging and reinforced outer cartons help safeguard the parts during storage and international transportation. Inspection records and custom packaging are available on request.
