Rhenium foil is primarily used for coating via chemical vapor phase deposition, film (CVD), and physical vapor deposition (PVD) processes. These include hot-electron beam evaporation, low-temperature organic evaporation, atomic layer deposition (ALD), and metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) processes.

Also, there are specific applications in fuel cells and solar energy.

At MetalsTek, we are the only ones who can provide you with the highest quality Rhenium Ribbon. We have two different grades available: commercial-grade and zone refined. Our commercial-grade Rhenium Ribbon is 99.99% pure, and our zone-refined ribbon is 99.995% pure. You can order both grades at random or at specific cut lengths to fit your needs. Rhenium Ribbon is used in many applications, such as mass spectrometers and electronics.
We have a variety of widths available for you to choose from, starting at .015″. The thickness options range from .001″ to .003″. You can order either grade in random lengths or pre-cut pieces to fit your specific application. We offer both metric and English units, so you can choose the one that works best for you.
