Specify the alloy and form first
“Nb–Ti” alone does not define a purchasable item. State the required grade or composition from your approved drawing, then identify whether the request is for rod, wire, sheet, tube or powder. If a substitute grade is acceptable, say so explicitly; otherwise ask for a quotation against the specified grade only.
Dimensions and inspection details
For solid and flat forms, provide finished size, length or cut size, tolerance, surface condition and any straightness or edge requirements. For powder, specify the particle-size distribution, quantity and handling or packaging requirements. Attach a drawing where geometry matters. Request the inspection records or composition report your project actually needs, and confirm what can be supplied before placing an order.
